A member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as Kwame A Plus, has rated the Akufo-Addo government for the almost two years that it has been in power.
It appears in the eyes of the musician cum comedian, the government he helped bring to power, has failed. The controversial artiste has given the government formed by his party, the NPP, 40 percent.
The musician who was on Hitz FM’s “Daybreak” show this morning monitored by ghanadat.com, also said he cares less whether or not he is liked by the President.
According to him, he is convinced the President has good intentions for the country having chatted with him a few times and it is his hope that, he will be able to achieve them.
“I don’t like the president because he likes me”. Asked if he knows if he is liked by the President, A Plus told host, Andy Dosty, “ I don’t know.
I like him because of what he stands for because he’s principled, because he has a vision to change this country. I like him because I believe in him, whether he likes me or not, that is neither here nor there”.
He continued “That should not be a problem because there were so many people who never saw Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson does not like them but they like Michael Jackson.
So you don’t need to be liked to like. I like what he stands for, his vision. I have spoken to him a couple of times and I am hoping that he’s able to achieve that for the country”, he concluded.
